High 5 against Chumba, clause by clause: coins, cash-outs and free entry
Head to head
High 5 matches Chumba on the 100 SC cash floor and the 1× playthrough, beats it with a 50 SC gift card floor and printed method times, and trails on free entry: 3 Sweeps Coins per mailed card against Chumba’s 5 per online request. Every row comes from High 5’s rules of 26 June 2026 and Chumba’s of 13 July 2026.
At a glance
High 5 Casino vs Chumba Casino, scored the way every head to head on this site is scored. Each verdict says how High 5 stands against Chumba on one rule; the method is set out on how we score.

Coins: Game Coins against Gold Coins
High 5 calls its play token the Game Coin; Chumba calls it the Gold Coin. The job is identical. High 5’s OR 6.2.2 says Game Coins “cannot be redeemed for Prizes”, and Chumba’s T&C 27.0 gives Gold Coins “no monetary value”. High 5’s ToU 2.1 adds that outside no-purchase promotions a Game Coin wins nothing, bought or free (read 8 September 2026).
The prize coin carries the same name and the same price. One Sweeps Coin redeems for $1 at High 5 (OR 8.2) and at Chumba (SR 4.4). Both brands give Sweeps Coins away rather than sell them: High 5’s rules say they “cannot be purchased under any circumstances”, and Chumba’s terms print the same rule in capitals. High 5’s rules also mention Diamonds, a third in-game item; the clauses read attach a prize value to Sweeps Coins alone.
Expiry matches on paper at 60 days. High 5’s ToU 6.10 expires coins after 60 days without a login, and Chumba’s T&C 8.22 counts 60 days from the last log-on. The account clock is where they part. High 5’s ToU 4.9 treats an account idle for 60 days as Dormant and open to closure, while Chumba waits more than 12 consecutive months before calling an account inactive.
Redemption: one cash floor, two gift card floors
Cash sits at 100 SC on both sides. High 5’s OR 8.2 asks for 100 eligible Sweeps Coins before a cash request and 50 before a non-cash prize; Chumba’s SR 6.5 sets one US$100 floor for bank, Skrill and gift card alike. A player who takes a Prizeout card can leave High 5 with half the balance Chumba requires, up to High 5’s SC250 Prizeout ceiling.
The methods line up closely. High 5’s help centre names Skrill (open to players who bought with Skrill, up to SC10,000), Trustly transfers by ACH or EFT to a linked US bank account (up to $10,000) and Prizeout digital cards. Chumba’s redemption-options page, in an archive capture of 16 April 2026, names a bank account, Skrill and Prizeout gift cards, and SR 6.3 sends cash back to the account or wallet used for purchases.
The clocks are where High 5 prints more. Its rules allow up to 10 days (OR 8.7), which on its own only matches Chumba’s 10 business days; the beat on the scorecard comes from the undated help centre, which gives Skrill 1–2 business days, Trustly 3–5 and Prizeout “instant to a few hours”. Chumba processes requests in the order received, “as soon as practicable” (T&C 8.14), with up to 10 business days for the bank leg (8.16); above $10,000 it may split a payment and add up to 7 days (8.18). All of these are the operators’ own statements; this site has timed a payout at neither brand.
Frequency favors Chumba: one request every 24 hours there, one every 48 hours at High 5 (OR 8.8). Both reserve the right to charge processing fees (High 5 OR 8.4, Chumba T&C 8.2), and High 5’s OR 8.5 puts taxes on the participant. Chumba also lets a player cancel a pending request. Every brand’s floors and clocks sit in one table on the redemption comparison.
Verification: checked before the first cash-out
Both brands verify before money moves. High 5’s help centre (archive capture of 16 June 2026) asks for a state-issued ID or driver’s licence, a selfie and proof of address, and OR 9.1 warns in capitals that verification may be required every time a player redeems. Chumba asks for a selfie, photo ID and proof of address from the last six months, plus a bank statement of the same age to confirm the bank, and keeps requests pending until the checks finish (T&C 9.2).
The $2,000 line appears on both sides with a different job. At High 5 it triggers a request for a Social Security number, per request or per calendar year (OR 8.7). At Chumba, a single or cumulative redemption above $2,000 opens enhanced checks on identity, address and source of wealth or funds (T&C 9.3), with documents due within 30 days of the first request (9.4).
Free entry and purchases
Free entry is Chumba’s clearest win. Its online entry request pays 5 SC per valid request (SR 3.2(d)(vi)): scratch to reveal a template, copy it by hand onto a 4×6-inch card and photograph it in the app. The postal route that Sweeps Rules 21.0 still printed on 30 December 2025 is gone from version 26.0. High 5 still runs on paper: a 4×6-inch card in a #10 envelope with a mail-in code, posted from the state of the verified account, worth 3 SC (OR 6.2.4.1 and 6.2.4.10).
The arithmetic, done on figures both operators publish and before any play: 20 Chumba requests reach the 100 SC cash floor, while High 5 needs 34 cards for cash or 17 for its 50 SC gift card floor.
Daily and sign-up coins fill in the rest. High 5’s OR 6.2.1 awards “a set number” of Sweeps Coins at the first login each day, and its help centre names 55 SC at sign-up plus a “Daily Harvest”. Chumba’s Daily Bonus is claimed once a day, amount unprinted (SR 3.2(c)), and its welcome offer in an archive capture of 28 January 2026 was 2,000,000 Gold Coins plus 2 free Sweeps Coins. The sign-up side for every brand is on the no deposit bonus page.
Purchases look alike. High 5’s help table lists credit cards and Apple Pay, and its Skrill redemption rule implies Skrill purchases. Chumba’s help page listed Mastercard, Visa, American Express, online banking, Paysafecard and Skrill (archive capture of 28 January 2026). Crypto appears in neither.
Owner and sister brands
High 5 Entertainment, LLC is the sole sponsor in OR 1.1, abbreviated “H5G” in the rules, and the documents read name no parent company. Its ToU 3.1.4 ties its state list to “the H5C Sweepstakes Platform (allowing GC and SC game play)”, and the help centre splits availability into “Classic” and “Social Casino” columns. High 5 therefore runs a Game-Coin-only classic product beside the sweepstakes one.
Chumba sits inside VGW. VGW Malta Limited operates the platform, VGW Games Limited runs the sweepstakes, and T&C 27.0 defines the VGW Group to include VGW Canada, VGW GP and their affiliates. vgw.co lists the sister brands: Global Poker, LuckyLand Casino, LuckyLand Slots (reported closing) and Monopoly Match. Chumba prints an MGA licence number in T&C 2.1 and says in 2.2 that unredeemed prizes sit in separate accounts, with “no absolute guarantee” in an insolvency.
Both rulebooks exclude a list of states, and High 5’s current rules open with dated exit notices from June 2026; the lists are on the by-state page.
What each does better

Chumba does better on:
- free entry, 5 SC per online request with no stamp against 3 SC per mailed card;
- request frequency, every 24 hours against every 48;
- a written ceiling on extra playthrough (20×);
- a longer idle clock before an account counts as inactive (12 months against 60 days);
- a newer rulebook, by 17 days.
High 5 Casino vs Chumba Casino: verdict by reader type
- Gift card redeemers with small balances: High 5, because 50 SC unlocks a Prizeout card there and Chumba asks for 100.
- Free-entry players: Chumba. Five coins per online request beat three per posted card, and the Chumba route costs only a photo.
- Players who cash out often: Chumba, with one request a day against one every two days.
- Players who want a stated bank time: High 5 prints 3–5 business days for Trustly against Chumba’s up to 10 business days; both are operator statements.
- Players who want crypto: neither brand offers it. The brands that beat Chumba are sorted by the rules they win.
If a 50 SC floor matters most, WOW Vegas against Chumba shows a 50 SC cash floor, and LuckyLand against Chumba covers the VGW brand that had one. For the whole field of sites like Chumba Casino, the home scorecard lines every brand up on the same rules.
